One man's liberator is another man's tyrant, or so the saying goes. Resistance to the expansion of the Sovereignty found Darius Vinn forced to employ aggressive negotiations more often than not. In one such engagement, his famed saber, the Overlord, had its emitter sliced off by another saber-wielding opponent. If it were not for his knowledge of force powers, his reign would have ended that day.
While rebuilding his saber, Vinn replayed the events of the battle in his head and concluded that the claws on his saber added extra length which left his emitter vulnerable. He repaired his saber and used a more conventional crowned emitter, reducing the overall length of the saber.
Today a reproduction of that saber exists in the Tyrant. Eminently practical, yet still exudes a fierce presence. The deep grooves and hand-stops remain, making this weapon a superior duelists platform.
